Fight against freedom is old and crafty.
Resistance against real, incl. direct democracy takes alsothe form of false and limited ‘editions’ of  "real" and "direct" democracy. 
For that reason free public debate is crucial - for exposing fake "solutions".

That's why great pains are taken to block that debate by media and education.

Control on public communication, collectve memories and experience is the main point of repression in fake democracies. 
So in order to build common strategies for change and realize them by collective action we have to break monopoly in public communication and get non-exclusive free debate. Inform

Under different conditions different sets of DD rights are needed to produce real control of society (all the people with voting rights) on public power. So actually this is the aim, not just any DD rights – if they give control of society on public power they are good, if not – they are bad. 
In Bulgaria we need a ‘stronger’ edition – at least for a period of time – because the citizenry is weak – no middle strata, the state and media/all powers/ – deeply corrupted , i.e. they are in private hands.

So the fight is is not just for DD but for the adequate set of DD rights needed in a specific society. Because the political class not simply  rejects them but offers handicaped 'solutions' by "good cops" and GNGOs.
